Tailored services for Independent Living at The Caswell
The Caswell offers supported independent living, meaning residents will be completely self-sufficient in their own homes, with support available to them as needed.
The Caswell will offer the best of both worlds where you will be as independent as you wish and only seek out social interaction and assistance when you want and need it.
We ask that all residents pay a monthly maintenance fee to ensure their homes, gardens and facilities are maintained to a high quality. Beyond that, extra services are entirely optional so you only pay for the ones you need.
Meals
The Clubhouse will host daily morning tea available at no charge for residents, with breakfast, lunch and dinner offered for an extra fee.
Residents will be offered a menu every week and they can pick and choose meals as they like to receive either in their homes or with other residents in the dining room.
Transport
The village bus will offer scheduled weekly shopping trips for residents to do their regular shopping and run errands at the local shopping centre. Every month they will also include a trip to a larger centre out of town.
There will also be regular trips to local attractions, restaurants and events. Some of these events may incur a fee and others will be free of charge.
Medical & Pharmaceutical
The Caswell has nurses on staff that are available to support residents as required. The Tanilba Bay Medical Centre, providing medical and allied health services, is located right next door. Terry White chemist is located two blocks away in the shopping centre.Â
We can help arrange medical appointments and transportation when required.
Cleaning & Laundry
Cleaning and laundry assistance can be organised as required. We can also offer help in the garden or with meal preparation.
Personal Supports & Assistance
In home and in community aged care supports are available from a registered aged care provider at The Caswell. These services can be funded by MyAgedCare home care packages or privately funded. If you already have an aged care support provider they are very welcome at The Caswell
