Tailored services for Independent Living at The Caswell
The Caswell offers independent living, meaning residents are completely self-sufficient in their own homes, with optional support available through outside providers as residents choose.
The Caswell offers the best of both worlds, where you are as independent as you wish and only seek out social interaction and assistance when you want and need it.
We ask that all residents pay a monthly maintenance fee to ensure their homes, gardens and facilities are maintained to a high quality. Beyond that, extra services are entirely optional so you only pay for the ones you need.
Clubhouse Dining
The Clubhouse’s dining room and kitchen are available for residents to use for their own gatherings, or for outside caterers to prepare meals for special occasions and community events.
Transport
With The Caswell opposite Tanilba Bay’s shopping centre, and courtesy and public buses servicing the wider area, many residents find they don’t need a car at all. For trips further afield, transport can be arranged independently or through local taxi and rideshare services.
Medical & Pharmaceutical
The Tanilba Bay Medical Centre, providing medical and allied health services, is located right next door, and Terry White chemist is two blocks away in the shopping centre.
Cleaning & Laundry
Cleaning, laundry, gardening and meal preparation assistance can be independently arranged by residents through outside providers, as they choose.
Personal Supports & Assistance
In-home and in-community aged care support is available through a registered aged care provider, arranged independently by residents. These services can be funded by MyAgedCare home care packages or privately funded, and if you already have a preferred aged care provider, they are very welcome to continue supporting you at The Caswell.
