The Caswell is located in central Tanilba Bay, a small coastal town on the Tilligerry Peninsula of Port Stephens. This area is known for its calm peaceful waters of the Tilligerry Creek and Karuah river, and it’s famous for the local oysters, fishing, boating and a healthy koala habitat.
The Caswell is located in the central business district where you can find supermarkets, banks, hairdressers and beauty salons, pharmacies, restaurants, medical centres and the post office within walking distance of the village. Tanilba Bay also has a Golf Club and RSL Sports Club that offer special meal deals for seniors as well as activities such as bingo, raffles and trivia.
Just a short drive further along the peninsula is Lemon Tree Passage, a small coastal town with a boat ramp, caravan park and bowling club. The waterfront is a great place to meet family and friends with a fantastic playground, walking tracks, picnic areas, restaurants and cafes nearby.
